Membership Information

There is a wide spectrum of golfers at Romsey. Ages range from eight years to 80+.  We are happy to receive applications for membership at any time and have several types of membership available to suit your requirements.

As with any long-established club we have many members in all categories: men, ladies, seniors and juniors. There are regular competitions played in all sections as well as mixed events.

Once a member, not only can you play Romsey but, through our reciprocal scheme with other prestigious clubs in Hampshire, Dorset & the Isle of Wight such as Barton on Sea, Rowlands Castle, West Byfleet & Shanklin & Sandown, you can play at these courses on designated days.

For those new to golf Romsey has a golf Academy where our Club Professional takes absolute beginners through the process of learning to play, understanding the rules and getting to grips with the etiquette of the game

For those players without a handicap but knowledge of the game we can offer assistance and the players can use the course at quiet times to gain their handicap

We invite you to play the course before you join and the green fee paid will be deducted from your subscription. Feel free to contact us to organise a tee time.

The Club run a number of competitions for all sections throughout the year with structured drawn events as well as club medals and stabelfords that allow the member to participate at any time of the day when these competitions are running. Traditional formal competitions including meals and prize giving are supplemented with less formal formats thus giving the golfer a variety of opportunity to mix with other members or to simply enjoy the competitive nature of the game in the comfort of their companions.
